I want to share with you a video piece produced and filmed by two aspiring young film and design artist. Last fall Isabel Owen and Eva Koujikov both seniors in high school contacted me to tell me about a documentary project they were producing for school. Both Isabel and Eva participated in a cooperative between Los Altos and Mountain View High School known as the Freestyle Academy of Communication Arts and Technology.
They told me they were doing a “Profile Video” on someone who has a positive impact in the community. The video would be a culmination of research and interviews about how a particular person can be a positive influence to other people through their actions.
Isabel shared with me that her mom had taken part in my “21 Day Cleanse“ two years ago and that what she had learned from the experience had made a big impact in her life and her families lifestyle.
She informed me that at the Freestyle Academy, they produce professional media products with cutting-edge technology and that they would like to create a documentary about me and my journey of health and wellness and how I am sharing my experience with others.
It was a really fun experience to work with these two gals.
I am sure that after you watch this film you will agree that they did an incredible job. Their film was even selected to be viewed at the annual Freestyle Winter Exhibition held at Computer Science Museum in Silicon Valley.
The girls will be heading off to college in the fall to attend The Art Institute of Chicago. Eva will be studying technology and product design and Isabel will study film. Eva told me that she believes the video was a key factor in their acceptance and scholarships.
Enjoy the film!
